The Moolasthanam Idols always require Energy from Fire. Small amount of Aarathi alone is not sufficient to bless all the Devotees. Usually 5 to 7 Feet high Idols require minimum one-time Agni Puja in a day. Nowadays, many install big IDOLS at the height of 10 feet to 40 feet and more. The purpose DIVINE IDOLS is to generate the sufficient Cosmic energy when it is being worshipped by the devotees. If big IDOLS are installed, then such Idols require min. 3 times Agni Puja to be performed in Big Agni Homa Kundam. Otherwise, the Gods abode in such Idols will be in lack of Cosmic Energies. Big Idols and less Agni Puja is similar to serving the food quantity of 2 years old baby to 30 years old Adult. The Big Idols may attract the public. Ultimately, if the Big IDOLs are not energized with big AGNI PUJA, then the idols cannot radiate the sufficient Cosmic Energy to its devotees.
